Introduction to Geometrical Product Specification and Surface Texture

30 min on-line Teams 

In this free webinar, you will receive an introduction and overview of how manufacturing companies manage and control the surface quality of products on drawings, using the internationally standardized symbolic language known as ISO GPS: The ISO system for specifying and verifying product geometry and tolerances.

Price: Free. The introduction can also be conducted on-site at your company or at our location, with additional travel expenses. No prior knowledge required.

Basic Course in Surface Texture - Profile (ISO 21920) and Areal (ISO 25178)

1 day on-line Teams, at toponova or at your company

By taking this basic course, you will learn to understand and apply the latest tools available in the ISO GPS toolbox for managing and controlling surface texture, using both profile and areal (3D) measurement techniques. Differences between the new and old surface texture standard for profile, ISO 1302, will also be presented.


Price: 7,000 SEK excluding VAT per participant. Minimum of 3 participants. Training can also be conducted on-site at your company or at our location, with additional travel expenses. No prior knowledge required.

Advanced courses for professionals in design, production, or quality management

1 day on-line Teams, at toponova or at your company

With our advanced courses, you will gain a deeper and practical understanding of surface texture as we incorporate your own specific surfaces and questions as practical examples.

Price: Request a quote, up to 5 participants per training session. Preparation time is additional. Training can be conducted on-site at your company or at our location.
Prerequisite knowledge required is completion of the Basic Course in surface texture or equivalent.

Workshop on-line 

1h on-line Teams

With a workshop, we focus on your specific question. We meet digitally over Teams where we go through your questions about surface texture, how to enter or interpret a drawing requirement, questions about measurement technology, settings for checking surfaces, etc.
After the Teams meeting, Toponova will return with a short summary and suggestions for continuation.

Price: 6 000 SEK excluding VAT , including preparation, a 1-hour Teams meeting, and a summary report.
